that are used to treat a clinical condition called ANAEMIA. Anaemia is defined as a
condition characterised by a decrease in the numbers of RBCs’ or Hb or both that may
be caused by excess blood loss, ineffective erythropoiesis, haemolysis or a combination of
the above.
Common symptoms are
Fatigue, Pallor, Dyspnoea, Palpitation headache faintness anorexia, Heart failure etc.
Treatment depends on
the cause of Anaemia.
